UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK

University of Limerick, Ireland

Dr. Christophe Silien, Coordinator

UL coordinates the activities of the consortium and will implement the first uCAIR microscope of ultrafast Raman and develop its bespoke data collection and processing routines. UL will also exploit the same microscope in uCAIR’s case study 2 of bladder cancer diagnostic from urine samples.

LLS ROWIAK LaserLabSolutions GmbH, Germany

Dr. Fabian Will

LLS ROWIAK LaserLabSolutions GmbH will develop the beam alignment module for the Raman scattering microspectroscopic imaging platform and will be responsible for the integration of the Raman technology into a prototype laser scanning microscope.

LAMBDA-X SA

Lambda-X High Tech SRL, Belgium

François Hamoir

Lambda-X will develop the electronics for the laser synchronisation and the signal acquisition.

PHOTONICS BRETAGNE

Photonics Bretagne, France

David Méchin, PhD

Photonics Bretagne will take charge of the modelling and the manufacturing of two new Photonics Crystal Fibres (PCF) to be integrated in the Multitel’s light sources: One Highly Non-Linear optical fibre for supercontinuum generation and one optical fibre presenting an anomalous dispersion.

FEMTO-ST is a laboratory of CNRS and is in charge of the Laser source based on nonlinear conversion with nanofiber.
