On January 30 and 31, 2024 uCAIR kicked-off with a two-day face-to-face meeting in Mons, Belgium. One hour South-West of Brussels, eleven partners met at Multitel aligning for the work lying ahead.
 
Coordinated by Christophe Silien, University of Limerick, for the next three and a half years the uCAIR consortium will pursue these key objectives:

• Increase of quality, speed and specificity of diagnosis of human tissue and molecular biomarkers in body liquids.
• Minimize raw data needs.
• Provide best in-class, sustainable, non-invasive imaging technology for medical interventions and treatments.
• Build a technology roadmap for in vivo optical biopsy and endo-microscopy.
• Extend the application range of the novel ultra-fast Raman even beyond medical applications.
